10 health and beauty tips to get your skin and body ready for summer

We still have a few more months before summer, so now is the time to prepare your skin and body for that summer glow and bikini body.

So to make something really clear here, you are magnificent just the way you are. These tips are meant to be used to improve your self-care routine and optimize your health, so you can wake up in the morning feeling energized and gorgeous.

  1. Skin glow

Getting a monthly facial is such a good investment for your skin. Maintaining a good beauty routine, such as cleaning your skin every night and then applying serum, oil, and/or cream (depending on your face requirements), is one of the best investments you can make for your skin. 2. Summer feet

To get really nice-looking feet for summer, I like to treat myself with a pedicure at my favorite beauty clinic, but you can also do a lot of yourself, to get beautiful summer feet. Around once a week, I usually treat myself to a nice Epsom salt foot bath. It helps soften the feet, and then I will add loads of cream to my feet every night before I sleep.

3. Hydrate

Start your morning with a large glass of water. I usually boil the water and leave it to cool down; then, I'll sip lukewarm water all through the day. It's so good for your skin and your body too.

4. Sleep

It's such a vital part of your beauty and health routine. Prioritising your sleep will leave you more energized, relaxed, and recharged. It will help your body function better, and this will influence your skin too.

5. Add veggies

Increase your intake of vegetables, preferably with every meal. Whenever possible, buy organic ones. 

6. Exercise

Boost your exercise routine; if you find it difficult, ask a friend to join you. 

7. Motivation

Gift yourself! It's my experience that when my clients have a health or beauty goal, it's often a good motivation if they treat themselves at some point to keep the enthusiasm up. It could either be a treat day, or give yourself a nice present when you have reached your goal. 

8. Energy booster

Find out what energizes you - is it exercise, social activities, or something else? Add more of this into your life; it will make you glow.

9. Meditation

Meditation is key to beauty and health. When your mind is relaxed, everything else will come easy to you.

10. Joy

What brings you joy? Is it a good laugh, positive news, going for a run, reading a book, helping someone, or having a coffee with a friend? Whatever it is, make more time for this. Bringing joy into your life will have a significant impact on your health and beauty too.
