The 10 healthy snacks you need to eat during exam practice

This blog is dedicated to my sweet daughter, who is preparing for her final exams this year <3

May is approaching quickly, and many teenagers, including my oldest, work around the clock to prepare for upcoming exams.

Trying to keep your mind focused on exams when the sun is shining is not easy; instead, you would rather hang out with your friends and enjoy the lovely spring. But, you are stuck inside with your computer and loads to read. So, what can you do?

My best advice is to make a plan of the topics you need to read. Furthermore, getting enough rest, sleep, fresh air, water, exercise, and some good snacks/food is one way to prepare your brain for your upcoming exams.

Please reach out to your parents and teacher if you feel too stressed. They are here to help you. You are not alone <3

So, here are my top 10 snacks to keep you going through the next couple of weeks:

  1. A lovely bowl with greek yogurt or skyr with this lovely granola: https://www.myhealthcoachlulu.com/recipes/glutenfree-granola

  2. Handful nuts, dark chocolate, or  blueberries: https://www.instagram.com/p/BZKngHSlVCd/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

  10. Green smoothie with berries: https://www.myhealthcoachlulu.com/recipes/greensmoothiewithberries

Allow yourself some good breaks to refuel your brain and body.

For example, go for a walk with a friend and take a long run out in nature or the gym. Drink loads of water throughout the day, and remember to eat your breakfast and get some good snacks.

I wish you all the best with your upcoming exams.

Sending you loads and loads of positive energy. You got this! :-)
